Summer 2023

It has been an amazing couple of weeks.

First going to Germany with my sister Barbara and the gang from the Dutch Dance Academy, for the G.O.L.D. competition; German Open - Summer Dance.  

We were competing and having fun. For the first time in, I think, 15 years I danced in Classics Line & Open. 

Wow, it felt good, totally nerve-wracking, but good fun.

We had a great time, drove home on Sunday night, was in my bed at 2 am, and my alarmclock went off at 5!! 2 days of working and then off to Denmark for the G.O.L.D. competition; Danish Classic. More fun, more dancing and of course I had my shop there. Had some really great advice from

Patricia Belloque Vane who has her own company, Born with Style.

After Denmark I  had to get back to my day job, hahaha.

But after a few days, I was back at the Dutch Dance Academy again.

This for the Living Line Dance Magazine Bootcamp.

Had a good spot for my shop and Roy's shoes.

But......

What an energy, what a great group of nice people. What long days, hahahaa. 

Bootcamp was from Saturday evening until Thursday afternoon.

I was completely exhausted, but I had a great time.

And I have met some really great new friends.

For me, being invited to their dance party at Hotel De Reiskoffer was a really nice highlight. 

People were genuinely glad to see me and it was a great party.

It was a special couple of weeks and it was, as always, really good seeing “ old” friends.

Making new ones and just living the dance life.

Now my webshop has a lot of empty spaces and I have placed a big order to restock everything and get some new bling bling :)
